About

EmeraldCoastOceanArt.com is owned by Danna Fawn (AKA Danna Rossi in her previous arts)

The goal here is to produce and bring together a collection of ocean and marine life art that doesn’t just “decorate” a wall or space, but rather inspires the soul, raises the emotions from the depths of negativity and balances the energy of the space in which is resides.

Fine art found here will have a balancing and uplifting affect on the environment in which it’s displayed similar to the way nature can heal all the physical, emotional, and energetic bodies.   It will draw forth healing ideas, emotions, and energies in the viewer and is bound to improve not only the space in which it resides, but you as a person as well.

Danna Fawn Biography:

Danna Fawn was born in 1979, United States and native to the Wyoming Rocky Mountains. The first trip to the ocean came immediately after graduating High School in 1997, moving to Florida to experience all that beach life had to offer. Inspired by nature she began acrylic paintings and pencil sketches of the various Florida landscapes.

Wyoming eventually called her back home in 1999 where she began working as a Patina Artist at Eagle Bronze Foundry in Lander Wyoming. There she created patinas for many world renowned artists like Vic Payne, Walt Horton, and many others. This experience combined with her own talent lead to her own wildlife sculptures and first juried art show acceptance to the worlds largest outdoor sculpture show; the 11th Annual Loveland Fine Art & Sculpture Invitational.

While her heart always remained in the arts, Danna decided to leave the arts and begin investing in real estate as a means to what many would consider “the stable path to financial freedom and responsibility”. While that path proved financially successful, her soul felt lost without the arts. Feeling the call to do what comes naturally to her, she left real estate investing and resumed her arts through automotive airbrushing cars in 2004, taking Best Of Paint trophies in every show she entered.

In 2014, Danna returned to the ocean where she now resides and belongs till this day.

The main medium currently used is acrylic medium mixed with metal leafing. Paintings are created mostly with iridescent paints that refract the light, giving each original a unique 3D appearance that changes depending on the light, bringing it to life in a way that inspires the viewer throughout the day. Embedded in the paintings are inspirational meanings and symbols, allowing her to bring the healing energy of the ocean to life through her work, hence transferring that energy into the home of it’s owner.

Scuba diving has given her a whole new connection to the ocean and it’s creatures, inspiring her to add bronze sculpture ocean art into her portfolio in 2024. Get ready for mermaids, underwater dragons, human figures with ocean wildlife and more!

Danna has NO formal arts education.  While full ride scholarships have been granted to her, she never used them.  All works of art come from visions and awareness she feels coming directly from her experiences with the ocean and nothing more.  Pure Inspiration and Soul Connection is the grounding energy in which all works are created.
